UPCYCLING ON A LARGE SCALE
AFTER SEARCHING FOR A SUITABLE EMPTY SHOP IN DOVER TOWN CENTRE WE WERE HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT ONE! IT IS LOCATED AT 15 BENCH STREET, JUST NEXT TO THE UNDERPASS, CONNECTING THE TOWN TO THE SEA FRONT AND NEXT TO THE CENTURION HOUSE BOX GALLERY.
AFTER SIX WEEKS OF HARD WORK, THE PLACE WAS TRANSFORMED BY CHARLIE, JOE AND COLIN WITH EXTRA HELP FROM JIM, PIOTR, MARK AND MALCOLM...

The store offerED four elements of “recreation”:

  1.   products designed and made by the community as well as other locally sourced upcycled items
  2.   Curated showcase selection of inspirational upcycled pieces of art, craft and design.
  3.   Dover’s first swap shop – for everyone to bring small unwanted items and exchange them for something someone else has left.
  4.   A dedicated area for an ongoing series of drop-in workshops, talks and discussions

THE STORE WAS OPEN MON TO SAT FROM 11AM TILL 3PM
